The Truth:
Samsung, LG, and Roku TVs run custom software (Tizen/WebOS) that cannot install Android APKs directly.
However, you can use your phone as the "Remote" and stream the video to your TV using a receiver app.
Step 1: Install "Web Video Caster"
You need a dedicated casting app to handle high-quality streams. Standard screen mirroring is too laggy.
- On your Phone: Download "Web Video Caster" from Play Store.
- On your TV: Go to the Samsung/LG App Store, search for "Web Video Caster Receiver" and install it.
Step 2: Start Ocean Streamz
- Open Ocean Streamz on your Android phone.
- Find a movie or episode you want to watch.
- Click a link to start playing it.
Step 3: Select "Play with..."
In the Ocean Streamz video player (or long press the link):
- Select "Play With..." or "Custom".
- Choose Web Video Caster from the list.
Step 4: Connect to TV
The Web Video App will open.
- Click the Cast Icon in the top right corner.
- Select your Samsung/LG TV from the list.
- The video will instantly stop playing on your phone and beam to your TV in full quality.
Note: You can now lock your phone. The TV does all the work.
Alternative: Buy a Firestick
If casting feels too complicated, the best solution is simply to buy a Fire TV Stick 4K ($25-40). It plugs into your Samsung/LG TV and gives you a full Android system where you can install the app natively.
